I grew up in a small town in Upstate South Carolina submerged in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I've always been involved with all things art and music, and found my love for graphic design and photo composition/manipulation in high school when I was first exposed to photoshop in my advanced art class. A few years later I was in college for media broadcasting where I started building my foundation and love for photography. I learned photography, how to develop and process photos with 35mm film, and darkroom procedures. Soon afterwards, the lines between film photography and digital arts started to blur with the introduction of DSLR cameras replacing film with digital files. Already being familiar with digital editing, I gladly welcomed the transition while others struggled with the major workflow changes that came from working hands-on in a darkroom to working exclusively on a screen.
